Diana Wynyard was a British actress. She began her career in the theatre before transitioning to film in the 1930s. She appeared in several notable films, including "Cavalcade" (1933), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, "The Prime Minister" (1941), and "Island in the Sun" (1957). Wynyard was known for her performances in both dramatic and comedic roles. She retired from the acting in the movies in the 1957, working on stage and television and passed away in 1964.
