Peter Martell was born in Bozen, South Tyrol, Italy as Peter Martellanz. After years as a sailor, Martell came back to Italy to work as a model. He started his filmcareer as stuntman in Cinecittá but soon started playing in westerns from 1966 onward. He was casted as partner of
Bud Spencer in
God Forgives (1967), but had to give the role to
Terence Hill due to an injury.
