Because of Him (1946)
A stagestruck waitress persuades a famous actor to sign a piece of notepaper which is actually a letter recommending her to a talent agent. Soon the angry actor is in pursuit of her, but matters become more complicated when a Broadway playwright falls in love with the girl.
