A Chess Dispute (1903)

A fixed camera observes as two well-dressed men engage in a game of chess. One of them smokes and drinks while the other makes a move when the smoker looks away. An altercation starts, beginning with the use of a seltzer bottle and escalating to physical punches being thrown. The two men struggle on the floor and continue their fight out of the camera's sight, obscured by the chess table. The waiter comes to intervene and remove them from the scene.
