Hochzeitsglocken (1954)

The young, naive Katharina falls head over heels in love with the handsome novelist Philipp. When she finds out that she was only a short adventure for him, she decides to take her own life. The village teacher Stefan Unger is able to save her at the last second. In the following weeks he takes care of the still injured woman.
