I Cover the War! (1937)
Bob Adams (John Wayne), a talented newsreel cameraman, receives the instruction from his boss, "Get the shot - we don't accept excuses!" Upon reaching Samari, a region of tribal conflict and the base of the bandit and rebel leader El Kadar, Bob sets out to find and capture El Kadar on film. Throughout his journey, he experiences a love affair with Pamela Armitage (Gwen Gaze), confrontations with arms traffickers, spies, and treacherous tribesmen, and ultimately saves the British military at the conclusion.
