The Woman from Moscow (1928)
Pola Negri's last picture for Paramount should be her swan song. There's a flash of the old Pola in the first few hundred feet, but it's only a teaser. What can a star do with a story about a princess who falls in love with the man who killed her cousin? Norman Kerry's trick moustache is the high point of interest. Pola wears those old Russian costumes. It's pretty synthetic stuff.
