The Time Machine (1960)

In the early 1900s, a group of close friends gather at the home of their friend George, who has invited them for dinner. However, George arrives late and in a state of distress, claiming to have visited the future using a machine he built himself. He tells a strange story of a future where humanity has split into two groups: the Eloi, a gentle and peaceful race of blonde, vegetarian creatures living on the surface, and the Morlocks, a terrifying cannibalistic race dwelling deep underground. As George tells it, when the beautiful Eloi woman Weena is abducted by the Morlocks, he must journey into the depths to save her.
