Vilma Banky was a Hungarian-American actress who appeared in silent films and early talkies in the 1920s and 1930s. She was known for her roles opposite Rudolph Valentino in The Eagle (1925) and The Son of the Sheik (1926). Banky was a popular star during the silent film era and was often paired with actor Ronald Colman in films. She retired from acting in the late 1930s and passed away in 1991 at the age of 90.
