The Divorce of Lady X (1938)
Romantic comedy film that starring Merle Oberon as Lady X, a woman who is seeking a divorce from her husband, the Earl of Flushing (Laurence Olivier). When Lady X's husband refuses to grant her a divorce, she decides to go to Paris to seek legal counsel from a lawyer named Evan Morgan (Rex Harrison). While in Paris, Lady X and Morgan fall in love and must navigate the complications of their own feelings and the legal issues surrounding Lady X's divorce.
