Stephen Lee, a wealthy businessman, disapproves of his nephew Wally Sanders' relationship with Violet Dayne, a chorus girl, believing that she is only after his money. Determined to prove him wrong, Violet's friend Jerry La Mar sets out to charm Stephen and show him that she is not the materialistic woman he perceives her to be. However, as she spends more time with him, she begins to realize that she has developed feelings for Stephen, leading to a complicated love triangle.
