Ein Mann wie EVA (1984)
In the world of filmmaking, EVA, a bearded director resembling Rainer Werner Fassbinder, resides in a grand house with his cast and crew as they work on adapting Dumas' "Lady of the Camellias" to the big screen. Upon being told by his accountant that he has numerous unpaid bills and limited funds, EVA erupts in anger and fires him. He then begins playing mind games, treating people cruelly, especially his former lover Ali. EVA engages in openly intimate relationships with both his leading lady, Gudrun, and leading man, Walter. He is known for being unpredictable, tyrannical, and erratic. Will he be able to complete the film and draw remarkable performances from his actors through his manipulative ways, or will his antics lead to consequences beyond his control?
