Florence Desmond was a British actress, singer, and comedienne. She was a popular performer in music halls and theatres, and later transitioned to films, appearing in over 20 films in the 1930s. She was also known for her stage performances, including her one-woman shows, and her work as a radio performer. She was a regular performer on the BBC Radio during the 1930s and 1940s. She is best remembered for her comedic performances, but also had a successful career in dramatic films. Florence Desmond passed away in 1993.
