Some Kind of Wonderful (1987)
Keith Nelson is having a hard time. He's quiet, shy, likes art, works at a gas station, and his best friend is a tomboy. He is also desperately in love from afar with a working-class girl who has somehow been accepted by the rich 'preppies' at school. These things don't go down too well in small-town USA. But for Keith, things are about to change - and how!
