Hot Water (1924)

Harold Lloyd - Hot Water

The story is an episodic look at the challenges and humorous situations that arise in a married couple's relationship with their in-laws. The couple experiences a range of events, such as taking a crowded trolley ride with a live turkey, going on a wild car ride with the in-laws, and a comedic sequence in which the husband accidentally chloroforms his mother-in-law and fears that he has killed her. The situation becomes even more comical when she starts sleep-walking, leading the husband to believe that she is haunting him.
